Our firm was founded on the principle that wealth is built from a disciplined process of investing. We act as a fiduciary and provide independent, unbiased advice through a systematic method of selecting investments and constructing portfolios.
Our investment process is designed with the goal to achieve your objectives. On your behalf, we directly invest in securities to allow for customization and tax efficiency while avoiding unnecessary fees. We systematically screen a universe of investments for factors that indicate high quality and attractive valuation. This proprietary process ultimately leads to a portfolio that is diversified across sectors, industries and asset classes.
We know our clients are looking for an investment firm that will have their best interests at heart, and that is why Wealthnet was created.
"We help people make money more productive.”

Meet the Team
Founder and CEO
Louis is the founder of Wealthnet Investments, LLC. Wealthnet is an asset management and research firm. In 1997, Louis founded Blythe Lane Investment Management and later merged the firm with Centric Investment Group which later became Wealthnet Investments, LLC. He also served as a Senior Portfolio Manager for the US Bank Private Client Reserve, and an Investment Consultant for Kemper Securities. Early in his career he worked as a Financial Analyst for Intellogic Trace, a spin-off of DataPoint and a Quantitative Analyst. Louis holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designations. He earned an MBA at the University of Denver and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Colorado in Denver. Louis is a contributing author in “The Handbook of Risk” published by John Wiley, and has written white-papers about investment management issues for practitioners. Louis has held chair positions on the board for the Colorado chapter of the Institute for Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Market Technician’s Association based in New York.
Preslie is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Wealthnet. She works directly with Louis to coordinate client relations with backend operations, and everything in between. If it’s related to scheduling, client questions, account maintenance, general information, and even simple troubleshooting – she’s got your back.
Her previous roles were rooted in the education field - she began her career as an assistant in an office that provided aid for homeless families in her hometown’s school district. Since then she has been a Principal Secretary and Office Manager for schools in both her home state of Texas and here in Colorado.
When she’s not in the office, you’re likely to find her exploring new trails with her dog, lost in a book, or lacing up to go for a run.
Operations and Compliance
Jane is in charge of operations and compliance. She ensures everything that goes on at Wealthnet is up to the latest legal standard, takes care of billing, and runs the reports that keep everyone up to speed. If you have a question about industry jargon, invoicing, or procedure – look no further.
She’s had her hand in Wealthnet from the beginning – Since 1998, she’s been behind the scenes of each iteration of the brand. It helps that she and Louis have been married since 1993. On top of her compliance expertise, she’s also been responsible for account administration, accounting, and customer service.
Outside the office, Jane is actively involved at their twins’ elementary school and volunteers her free time to PTO. When not shuttling kids or shuffling papers, she enjoys being in the kitchen trying new recipes.
